Notice in effect due to construction impacts
PRINCE RUPERT, JULY 24th, 2023 – Residents are advised that the Boil Water Notice has now been rescinded, under advisement from Northern Health. We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your patience.
Note that following the emergency alert issued Thursday, we were made aware that not all landline users received the initial message to residents. We apologize for this error, and have been working with the alert system developers to identify and fix the issue, which should now be resolved. If water users in construction areas see a milky quality or sediment in their water, please run cold water, preferably through your bathtub or laundry sink taps, until it is cleared. Do not run appliances that use the water system (laundry, dishwasher, fridges) until water runs clear.
