Five Year Financial Plan

The Five Year Financial Plan document and Budget Presentation are prepared to provide greater public understanding of the financial priorities, policies, constraints, and financial plan for the period 2023-2027.

**UPDATE: Please note that thanks to the March 27th funding announcement from CityWest, the proposed tax increase has been reduced from 15.7% to 12.5% after accounting for new revenues and cost cutting. Our Budget Simulation Tool has been updated to account for this change, but the Budget Document still retains the original draft increase.

2023 Budget Presentation

The following is the presentation made by staff during the March 22nd Committee of the Whole Meeting of Council.

2023 Budget Simulation

To provide a more interactive approach for the community to engage with our municipal budget, the City is using the Balancing Act budget simulation tool to let residents weigh in on this year's budget priorities. Click the link below to access the simulation, and don't forget to request a Tax Receipt that will let you know how your tax dollars are proposed to be spent in 2023.
