Services

The City of Prince Rupert serves approximately 13,000 residents. The City is governed by our elected Mayor and City Council, who set policy, approve plans and budgets, and provide direction to the City Manager who, along with City Administration and staff, implements City Council’s vision and administers public services.  Below is a list of main services the City provides. 

Recreation Services

Our Recreation Complex offers a number of services, facilities and courses. Residents can also access our Recreation Access Program, which endeavors to provide access to our facilities for all individuals and families, at reduced or no cost.

Garbage and Recycling

Infrastructure

The Operations Department manages and maintains City infrastructure like roads, bridges, water and sewer pipes, and more. This is where you can find our water reports, report a concern, and learn about our maintenance programs.
