Regular Council Meeting - June 23rd, 2025

• In the Committee of the Whole, the Annual Public Meeting was held, including an update on the Annual Report and an opportunity for public comment. The full Annual Report document can be found, here
• Council also received a presentation from the Indigenous Relations Committee with an update on ongoing activities, including planned engagement work over the summer and fall of 2025. 
• During the Regular meeting, Council voted to approve the 2024 Statement of Financial Information, which is now posted to the City’s website, here. The Statement of Financial Information lists all employee remuneration and expenses over $75,000/year, Council remuneration and expenses, as well as payments to suppliers of over $25,000 a year, with posting of this information part of the City’s mandatory Provincial reporting requirements.  Audited Financial Statements are also included in the report. 
• Council voted to approve the award of the Capital Paving program to Zulu Aggregates Inc, following the recommendation of staff to select the contractor with the lowest bid price, earlier scheduled start date, and positive reference check.
