Thanks Given to Outgoing Councillors Skelton-Morven and Randhawa
PRINCE RUPERT, NOVEMBER 3rd, 2026 – The formal swearing in of Council occurred last night at City Hall, marking the official start of the new term of Council and ability for the new Council to begin official decision making. The new Mayor and Council read out the Oath of Office
Thanks were also given to outgoing Councillors Reid Skelton-Morven and Gurvinder Randhawa for their many years of service.
“Both Councillors served the community for multiple terms, bringing their unique individual experiences and ideas to the Council table,” said Mayor Herb Pond. “We thank them for their many committed years and wish them all the best in their next chapters.”
Councillor Randhawa was first elected in 2014, and Councillor Skelton-Morven joined Council in 2018.
