Notice is hereby given that the City is considering an application for a Temporary Use Permit at the lot on the corner of Bellis Road and Seal Cove Rd (portion of old quarry site), legally described as LOT E DISTRICT LOT 251 RANGE 5 COAST DISTRICT PLAN 4693 EXCEPT PLANS 6331 9717 9830 12425 PRP12954 AND PRP12955 & LOT 1 WATERFRONT BLOCK I DISTRICT LOT 251 RANGE 5 COAST DISTRICT PLAN 6331 EXCEPT PLAN PRP12954.
Purpose: The proposed temporary use permit is requested to allow the applicants to use the property for a temporary construction camp, in the Multiple Family Residential Zone (RM3).
This application may be considered by the City Council for approval on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, Second Floor of City Hall, 424 West 3rd Avenue, Prince Rupert, B.C.
All persons who deem themselves affected by the Temporary Use Permit may present written submissions respecting the Application or speak during the Public Comments period at the Council meeting. All written submissions (mailed, or electronic) must be received by Rosamaria Miller, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer by no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025.
