News Release

Please note that the intersection of Dry Dock Road and George Hills Way will reopen at the end of day today (Friday, August 29th), with gravel cover until paving can be completed (dependant on weather and contractor availability). A small work area/open excavation will remain fenced off, but traffic can proceed around it. Please proceed through this area with caution.

After the long weekend, the rolling closure will move east towards Rushbrook, with crews replacing the sewer line in 50-100 m increments. During that time, one way traffic will be permitted through the impacted area, and pedestrian access will be maintained. Based on the current provided schedule, we anticipate impacts to the parking lot adjacent to Bobโ€™s on the Rocks will occur late September (after Bobโ€™s has closed for the season, thankfully!).

Thank you to everyone for your patience as we replace the sewer and outfall in this area โ€“ a critical step in implementing wastewater treatment.
