Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing with respect to Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 3531, 2024 will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, Second Floor of City Hall, 424 West 3rd Avenue, Prince Rupert, B.C.
Purpose: an application for a textual amendment to the municipal Zoning Bylaw at the property legally described as: LOTS 11 THROUGH 14 OF BLOCK 24 SECTION 1 DISTRICT LOT 251 RANGE 5 COAST DISTRICT PLAN 923 (801 2nd Avenue West to permit the use of Retail Liquor Sales within 1km radius of other retailers at that property. This amendment would align with BC’s Liquor and Cannabis Regulator Board, which approved this liquor outlet.
Copies of the proposed Bylaw amendment can also be obtained on our website or the front desk of City Hall.
At the Public Hearing all persons who deem themselves affected by the zoning changes may present written submissions respecting the Application.
All submissions (mailed, or electronic) must be received by Rosamaria Miller, Director of Corporate & Legislative Services by no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024.
