    • Did you miss Monday’s Council Meeting? Not to fret – here are the highlights!

    • Council held a Committee of the Whole session where presentations were received from Altagas on their Ridley Island Energy Export Facility, the BC Rural Health Network, and a delegation from Wayne Place with respect to noise and emission complaints from overnight area truck traffic.  
    • In the regular meeting, Council passed the consent agenda – which included correspondence to the President and CEO for Northern Health, and the Vice-President, Medicine for Northern Health regarding the recent closures of the Emergency Department at the Prince Rupert and Regional Hospital.
    • Council also passed a resolution to support, in principle, the Rotary Club of Prince Rupert seeking out funding to install a community bandshell/performance space in Mariner’s Park. Council directed Staff to work with Rotary on this.
