Notice is hereby given that 1st, 2nd, and 3rd reading of the Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 3538, 2024 will be held during a Regular Council Meeting on Monday, May 27th, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, Second Floor of City Hall, 424 West 3rd Avenue, Prince Rupert, B.C. As per changes to Provincial regulations regarding housing development, no public hearing is permitted for this application. 

Purpose: This Prince Rupert Zoning Bylaw Amendment No. 3538, 2024 is to amend the City of Prince Rupert Zoning Bylaw No 3462, 2021 to rezone the lots legally described as: LOTS 21 THROUGH 28 BLOCK 10 SECTION 1 DISTRICT LOT 1992 RANGE 5 COAST DISTRICT PLAN 923, from C1 (Core Commercial Zone) to C6 (Downtown Highrise Zone )with site specific height restrictions.

Copies of the proposed Bylaw amendment can also be obtained on our website or the front desk of City Hall. All submissions (mailed, or electronic) must be received by  Rosamaria Miller, Director of Corporate & Legislative Services by no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, May 27th, 2024.
