A Note to East Side Residents

The City is reaching out to acknowledge the frustration and challenges that east side residents have experienced this week as a result of work on water valve testing as part of the BIG Project. These issues were a result of both internal and external communications failures, resulting in confusing messaging and inadequate notification for service disruption provided by us to residents. 

Our commitment to you is to learn and to do better. As a result of issues identified this week, we are shoring up our internal processes for both planned and unplanned water service disruptions and will roll out clarified procedures to staff in the coming week. We want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we work on critical infrastructure upgrades.
