CITY OF PRINCE RUPERT CONGRATULATES ABORIGINAL HEAD START ON GROUNDBREAKING OF NEW CHILD CARE FACILITY
PRINCE RUPERT, MAY 23RD , 2025 – The City of Prince Rupert proudly congratulates the Aboriginal Head Start program with Kxeen Community Services Society on the official groundbreaking of its new child care facility. This marks a significant milestone in expanding the region's early childhood services for Indigenous, Inuit, and Métis families.
This new facility, which will offer culturally rooted care and education for children, represents a vital investment in our community's future. Aboriginal Head Start continues its legacy of empowering young learners and supporting families with holistic, community-based programming by creating a nurturing space that celebrates language, culture, and identity.
