Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing with respect to Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 3507, 2023 will be held on Monday, June 12th at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, Second Floor of City Hall, 424 West 3rd Avenue, Prince Rupert, B.C.
Purpose: This Prince Rupert Zoning Bylaw Amendment is to rezone lots legally described as LOTS 1-7 BLOCK 40 SECTION 5 DISTRICT LOT 251 RANGE 5 COAST DISTRICT PLAN 923 and AMENDED LOT 8 (SEE 99188I) BLOCK 40 SECTION 5 DISTRICT LOT 251 RANGE 5 COAST DISTRICT PLAN 923 (located at the corner of 9th Avenue West and Lisa Walters Drive)from R2: Duplex and Two Family Residential Zone and P1: Public Facilities Zone to RM5: Multiple Family Residential Zone to accommodate a proposed 40-unit 5-story multifamily building. The rezoning includes limiting the building height to 21 m.

At the Public Hearing all persons who deem themselves affected by the proposed Bylaw shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard or to present written submissions respecting the Bylaw. All submissions (mailed, or electronic) must be received by Rosamaria Miller, Corporate Administrator by no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 9th, 2023.
