PRINCE RUPERT, BC - November 11th, 2022 - The City’s Fire Department responded to a fire in the canteen at the Recreation Complex today that has now been extinguished. Thanks to quick response from the Fire Department, the fire was well contained and the City is hoping to reopen the facility again tomorrow. Due to the holiday closure, no staff or residents were in the facility.
