RESOLUTION TO EXCLUDE THE PUBLIC
THAT Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 5:00 p.m. on September 3, 2022 is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the item(s) on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:
90.1 (c) labour relations or other employee relations; and, (d) security of property of the local government.

PRINCE RUPERT, BC - November 11th, 2022 - The City’s Fire Department responded to a fire in the canteen at the Recreation Complex today that has now been extinguished. Thanks to quick response from the Fire Department, the fire was well contained and the City is hoping to reopen the facility again tomorrow. Due to the holiday closure, no staff or residents were in the facility.
We’ve done our best to make lemonade from the lemon that was Watson Island – and it’s getting noticed.
