New Logo + Brand Guidelines Celebrates Indigenous Roots, Rainbow Symbolism
At last night’s meeting, City Council approved a refreshed City logo and brand guidelines that blend indigenous art, contemporary design, bright colours and a nod to our familiar moniker – the City of Rainbows.

RESOLUTION TO EXCLUDE THE PUBLIC
THAT Council hereby declares that the meeting held at 5:00 p.m. on February 28, 2022 is to be closed to the public and that the basis of this closure is that the item(s) on the agenda of this meeting comply with the following closed meeting criteria specified in Section 90 of the Community Charter:

PRINCE RUPERT, B.C. – In an effort to increase housing stock in Prince Rupert, the City has placed a number of lots for sale this week, advertised in the legal section of the newspaper and on our website. The fully serviced lots are in various neighbourhoods around Prince Rupert, and available to the public for acquisition.

FEBRUARY 10th, 2022– PRINCE RUPERT, B.C. – Please note that due to high turbidity levels detected in the drinking water supply relating to the heavy rain event we just experienced, a Water Quality Advisory has been issued for City of Prince Rupert. Northern Health recommends that children, pregnant women, the elderly and persons with weakened immune systems drink boiled water at this time.
