Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing with respect to Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 3430, 2018 will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018, commencing at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, Second Floor of City Hall, 424 3rd Avenue West, Prince Rupert, B.C.
Purpose: To amend the Prince Rupert Zoning Bylaw to permit retail sales of recreational cannabis as illustrated below. The proposed amendment will also restrict the distance between cannabis retail stores to be at a minimum distance of 75 meters from each other, as measured between centre of primary access points.

A copy of the Bylaw and relevant background documentation may be inspected at the City of Prince Rupert City Hall during regular office hours (9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) from Monday through Friday, until December 7, 2018.
At the Public Hearing all persons who deem themselves affected by the proposed Bylaw shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard or to present written submissions respecting matters contained in the Bylaw. If you cannot attend the Public Hearing, all written submissions (mailed, or electronic) must be received by the City Planner by no later than 4:30 pm on December 7, 2018.
