Notice of Proposed Property Sublease

In accordance with Section 26 and 94 of the Community Charter, the City of Prince Rupert hereby gives notice to sublease the municipal property as follows:

The City intends to enter into a sublease with the Wheelhouse Brewing Corporation (the “Lessee”) for 600 sqft of space in the warehouse located at 181 George Hills Way (the “Property”), as shown in the reference map below that forms part of this notice, for an initial sublease term of 1 year, with an option to extend for 1 year. Rent to the City is proposed at $6.50/sq foot per annum for the life of the initial and renewal term. The following is the legal description of the property:

  • That portion of PID No. 009-343-121, LOT 2 , Block Wft G Range 5, Plan PRP7176, Lot: 2, DL251
