Minor Incident with Bunker C Tank in Moresby Area

At approximately 10 am this morning, the City’s Fire Department responded to an incident involving the Bunker C fuel tank in the Moresby area.  In the contractor’s process of dismantling the tank, a flare up occurred, which the Fire Department was able to address through the use of foam to douse the flames. No one was injured during the incident, and there was no release of product into the surrounding environment.
