As residents are aware, a new coronavirus is the cause of an outbreak of respiratory infections, now known as COVID-19.
City services remain unaffected at this time. Public health risk will be continually reassessed and City services will be adjusted accordingly should the risk level change.
The City has directed staff to enhance cleaning measures within our facilities, and we are also asking our staff as well as residents to observe good hygiene practices (such as regular handwashing), as recommended by the local health authorities.
Municipal governments are guided by the direction of local, provincial and federal health authorities on matters related to public health.
