The City of Prince Rupert is looking for public feedback on this year’s proposed budget. The meeting will be held March 14th, 2016, starting 7 pm at the Lester Centre for the Arts. Come out and provide input to Council and City staff via electronic voting on-site and online or via text message for those not in attendance.

Come out and provide input to Council and City staff via electronic voting on-site and online or via text message for those not in attendance. 

 

To watch the public meeting from the comfort of your home, you can access the live stream online at www.princerupert.ca/live or on Cable Channel 10.To vote online, go to PollEv.com/cityofpr to respond directly to questions from the Finance Department. Or, you can text CITYOFPR to 37607 to register to respond, and text in your responses to the questions in real time. **Please note - polling will only be open during the duration of the public engagement session, and will close directly after. 

 

 

The following questions will be asked at the 2016 Public Budget Meeting, with opportunities for residents to vote on-line, via text message, or in person: 

1) The City has an extremely large infrastructure deficit.  Do you agree the City needs to make asset renewal a priority in this and future budgets? 

2) Do you agree with the City’s recommendation in the 2016 budget to set aside funds into asset renewal reserves?
